Electropolish also provides a corrosion resistant surface, and removes any discoloration on the surface caused by heat-treating and/or oxidation leaving you with a bright, reflective finish. Our passivation process passes Cytotoxcity testing for titanium implants. ESI also passes Pyrogen testing performed on most stainless steel surgical instruments.

Although electropolish is primarily performed on stainless steel, ESI also provides electropolish and/or cleaning of a variety of exotic metals. Our facility includes Class 100 and 1,000 Clean Rooms for ultra-pure inspection, cleaning and packaging of medical and microelectronic components.
